Presented by the Watervliet Historical Society.  Ages 11-14.  Homeschool families welcome!

Brick Builders

Every third Thursday (May 17th) at 6:00 pm
Main Library

You bring your imagination, we’ll provide the tools to get creative. Children ages 4 and up are invited to join us for our monthly Brick Builders group-building with LEGOs or other materials.

All building materials provided by the library. Please leave your personal LEGOs at home; we wouldn’t want to you to lose your favorite pieces. Completed projects are displayed in the library!

No registration required. Brick Builders meet in the Flag Room off of the Art Gallery. Children under the age of 7 require an adult chaperone for the duration.


Preschool Family Storytime

Family Storytime – Grow a Reader!
This 45 minute enrichment program includes stories, songs, and movement to support children’s learning and discovery from the very beginning. For children ages 0-5 with a caregiver.

If your child struggles with reading, bring him or her in to read to Teddy the Shih Tzu, who will help build reading confidence with a judgment-free ear and a wagging tail!  Stop in for a 15 minute appointment.

Stop by and have fun creating with LEGO bricks. For ages 4 and up. Under 7 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration necessary.
