Adult Summer Reading Raffle: June 22nd to  August 21st

Do you have time to read even 1 book this summer? Then you have a chance to win a prize in our summer reading raffle! The rules are simple, you get the chance to enter one raffle ticket for each book you read. Of course the more you read the better your chances are at winning! Participants must be 16 years or older and have a valid library card from an Upper Hudson member library to enter. You can read whatever books you like and, audiobooks and eBooks count! Prizes include gift cards and merchandise from local Troy businesses. Drawing will be held August 21st at the Finale Party. Participants do not need to be present to win.

Enter your raffle ticket:

  • At the Library: Submit a paper ticket at our Main Location or Lansingburgh Branch OR
  • Online: Don’t have time to visit us? Enter your ticket online.

Please note: Paper tickets and online tickets are counted equally, you may use either method you prefer, and please enter just one ticket per book read.

Shorts Out Loud!

No registration is necessary. Join us in the courtyard (in the case of inclement weather we will move inside).  This program is free and open to adults age 16 and over.

Join us in our courtyard for a series of summer concerts as part of our Adult Summer Reading Program, A Universe of Stories.

  • Wednesday, July 17th at 6:30 pm – Harry Pellegrin
  • Wednesday, July 31st at 6:00 pm – George Wilson, fiddler
  • Tuesday, August 6th at 6:30 pm – William Simcoe, classical guitarist
